Many crucial questions increasingly draw attention to existing buildings and their future possibilities from environmental reasons to traditional preservation.

Panel buildings are one of the most widespread forms of housing in the Czech Republic, however, there is still no systematic concept for their future development.

This work deals with the possibilities for the future development of the T06B, one of the most widespread systems in the Czech Republic. The research part examines the historical influences and Czech panel-building systems development. The analytical part provides detailed values and limits of the system and offers comprehensive information for formulating general development principles. Finally, the solutions are demonstrated at a specific building.
