Iceberg Gallery

The Iceberg Gallery building is designed for the needs of a modern fine art gallery. It provides spaces in which it is possible to create ideal conditions for art works. A seamless connection with the surrounding landscape is achieved thanks to the connecting, all-glazed central part where vertical communications are located. The gallery consists of four levels, three of them are located below ground level. Thanks to that the building has a very modest, elegant impression from the outside whit a special dynamic inside. Each room is naturally lit by a glazed roof
part, skylight, or landscaping. The total mass of the object is made up of three blocks shifted relative to each other, and this is precisely what helps the connection to the terrain.
The gallery can thus be understood as an iceberg floating on water.
